The Chinese taught younger people warfare by a book called The Art of War written more then 2,500 years ago. it was written by a man named Sun-tzu, a great Chinese general from the Warring States Era. In this awesome book they tell how good a warrior should be. An example from the book is that it says, " a soldiers spirit is keenest in the morning". Another thing is that is said, " those who are are not thoroughly aware of their disadvantages are not aware of their enemies disadvantages."

How did The Great Wall of China help China in warfare?
How affective were the chinese in warfare and how did they win battles?
The Chinese were overall okay in warfare. They were affective in gaining lands in battles by already organized squads, platoons, and battalions. One of the battles was the Mongolian Invasion with their leader Genghis Khan which they took all of China. So as you can see China was okay at warfare but not close to the best in ancient times. Also they won battles with The Great Wall of China that protected them from invaders at around 221 B.C. Also, in 771 B.C barbarians attacked China and destroyed their Capital Hao. Last but not least, China was sometimes just okay in warfare and got taken over a lot but they do have cool fascinating weapons!
